Thank you for your interest in piano lessons! I am a piano teacher in North East Houston in the Fall Creek area. I studied music at Brigham Young University-Hawaii and have a Bachelor’s degree in Music Composition. I have been teaching piano lesson for over four years. I look forward to teaching you or your children!
Location I teach lessons in my home at 7530 Leaftex Drive, Humble, TX 77396. I can also provide lessons in your home in the Fall Creek area if you have a piano or keyboard. Your instrument: In order to progress in lessons, you should have a piano or keyboard that emulates a real piano. This means it should have weighted keys, sustain pedal, and be a full size keyboard (88 keys). |
Supplies:
I have a large library of piano books and resources and will provide most of what you will need. for lessons. However, I may occasionally ask you to purchase some lesson books or flash cards.
Practicing
Students should practice 4-5 days per week. The preferred amount of practice time should be at least 20 minutes, but even fitting in 5-10 minutes during a busy day will significantly help the student’s progress.
Schedule
Lessons occur during the standard school calendar for the local ISD. If your student has a break from school, we will usually take a break from piano. I will usually confirm off-weeks via email.
Cancellations
I’m aware that we all live busy lives and our days don’t always go as planned. This happens in my life as well! For this reason, I try to remain as flexible as possible. If you need to cancel a lesson, please let me know as soon as possible in writing via email or text. I will do the same for you.
Payment
Payment is due at the end of each month for the amount of lessons completed during the calendar month.Consult the student’s notebook(s) to confirm the amount of lessons that occurred. Please make payments via PayPal by sending to email [email protected].
